Rusty stands 13.7" tall from her shoulders to the ground.
She has very long ears measuring 9.3/4" long. With short legs and large paws, she weighs
around 60 lbs. Her Champion Blood Line comes from Canada.  Both parents are medium to large in size and full of Champions on both sides. Both parents are very “houndy” looking bassets.

She is a black, brown, and white tri-color. She has a lot of extra skin. She is AKC, ACA Registered and lives in the comfort of our home. Sleeps on our couch, eats in our kitchen because she is one of our pets.

Rusty is our pet and has always lived in-doors and loves to lay around the house.
She runs and play outside every day. Once outside, she becomes a “hunter”, involved in those fascinating scents. Truthfully, her most favorite thing is to find a spot in the sun and snooze….

Rusty "The Rustic Virginian" Like all of our basset parents we raised Rusty from a puppy. We be leave that this is one of the most important steps in what makes a Huggable Basset.
